Ragedera graphite mine produces rGO using two steps. Chemical exfoliation of graphite involves oxidation of graphite to produce graphite oxide and/or graphene oxide (GO) followed by Reduction of GO to produce graphene. The reduced product often referred as ‘Reduced Graphene Oxide (rGO)’ instead ‘graphene’ since rGO consists of reduced oxygen content. rGO finds more or less similar applications as graphene.
